  3. Paste your webpage URL
  4. Click Continue
  5. Select your output formats, brand, and style
  6. Click Generate Visuals

What Gets Extracted

When you import a URL, Canvora automatically identifies:

  • Main content - The article body, excluding navigation and ads
  • Headlines - Key section headers
  • Statistics - Numbers and data points
  • Quotes - Quotable phrases and callouts
  • Key points - Main takeaways and bullet lists
  • Images - Referenced images (optional use)

Supported Content Types

Landing Pages

Extract key value propositions, features, and benefits from product and service pages. For a complete visual kit with section-specific visuals (hero banners, feature graphics, testimonial cards, stats, CTAs), use the dedicated Landing Page Kit feature.

Documentation & Help Centers

Transform published documentation, knowledge bases, and help articles into visual guides and tutorials.

Articles & Written Content

Works with any published written content—company updates, thought leadership, research summaries, and more.

Product Pages

Pull product descriptions, features, and specifications to create marketing materials.

News & Press Releases

Turn announcements into shareable graphics and summary cards.

Best Practices

Use Public URLs

The URL must be publicly accessible. Canvora cannot access:

  • Password-protected pages
  • Paywalled content
  • Private/draft posts
  • Localhost URLs

Clean URLs Work Best

Some URLs work better than others:

Works well:

  • https://medium.com/@author/article-title

May have issues:

  • URLs with excessive tracking parameters
  • AMP or cached versions

Troubleshooting

"Could not extract content"

This usually means:

  • The page requires login
  • URL is malformed or inaccessible

Solution: Copy and paste the text manually using Text Input.

"Content looks incomplete"

Some websites have complex structures that make extraction difficult.

Solution: Copy the content from the webpage manually and use Text Input instead.

"Wrong content extracted"

The page may have multiple content areas or dynamic content.

Solution: Use Text Input to paste only the content you want to visualize.

Pro Tips
