Best Results Tips

Use Text-Based Documents

Canvora works best with text-based PDFs. Scanned documents or image-based PDFs may not extract properly.

Works well:

  • Digital-native PDFs
  • Word documents
  • Exported presentations

May have issues:

  • Scanned paper documents
  • Image-heavy PDFs
  • Password-protected files

Structure Helps

Documents with clear structure produce better results:

  • Use headings and subheadings
  • Include bullet points
  • Separate sections clearly

Keep It Focused

For best results, upload focused content:

  • A specific report or whitepaper
  • One chapter or section
  • A presentation deck
  • A proposal or brief

Rather than:

  • Entire books
  • Multi-topic compilations
  • Unstructured content dumps

Common Use Cases

Reports → Executive Summaries

Transform quarterly reports, research findings, or analysis documents into visual summaries and shareable infographics.

Presentations → Social Carousels

Turn pitch decks, training slides, or keynotes into LinkedIn carousels and Instagram content.

Proposals → Client-Ready Visuals

Convert proposals and briefs into polished graphics for client presentations.

Documentation → Visual Guides

Transform SOPs, how-to guides, and technical docs into clear visual instructions.

Whitepapers → Thought Leadership Content

Extract key insights from whitepapers as quote cards, stat graphics, and summary infographics.

Processing Time

Document processing typically takes:

  • Small docs (1-5 pages): 5-10 seconds
  • Medium docs (5-20 pages): 10-20 seconds
  • Large docs (20+ pages): 20-40 seconds

Troubleshooting

"File too large"

Reduce file size by:

  • Compressing images in the document
  • Splitting into smaller documents
  • Converting to text-only format

"Could not extract text"

This usually means the PDF is image-based.

Solution: Use OCR software to convert to text first, or manually copy the text.

"Partial content extracted"

Complex formatting can cause issues.

Solution: Review and edit the extracted content, adding any missing sections manually.
