Welcome to Canvora. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Canvora's visual content generation platform, including our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By using Canvora, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Canvora, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Canvora. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Canvora is an AI-powered platform that transforms your documents, URLs, and text into professional visual content, including:

  • Social media graphics (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest)
  • Infographics and data visualizations
  • Presentation slides
  • Executive summaries
  • Quote cards and stat cards
  • Process diagrams and carousels

3. Account Registration

To use Canvora, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update any changes to your information
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Plans and Credits

Canvora offers various subscription plans with different credit allocations. Credits are used to generate visual content. Each generation consumes credits based on the number and type of outputs selected.

4.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.

4.3 Credit Expiration

Monthly subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Purchased credit top-ups do not expire as long as your account remains active.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods or unused credits.

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply to subsequent billing cycles.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload to Canvora, including documents, images, logos, and text ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transform it solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

5.2 Generated Content

Visual content generated by Canvora from your User Content belongs to you. You may use generated content for personal, commercial, or any lawful purpose. We do not claim ownership of generated content.

5.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the User Content you upload. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to use and share the content
  • Your content does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
  • Your content does not violate any laws or regulations
  • Your content is not defamatory, obscene, or harmful

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Canvora to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
  • Create misleading or deceptive content (deepfakes, false information)
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Generate content depicting minors in inappropriate contexts
  • Spam, phish, or distribute malware
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Reverse engineer or extract our AI models or algorithms
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Circumvent usage limits or credit systems

7. Intellectual Property

The Canvora platform, including its design, features, AI models, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as intended.

8. Third-Party Services

Canvora integrates with third-party services for functionality such as payment processing, authentication, and content delivery. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or practices.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

CANVORA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your purposes
  • Any defects will be corrected
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before use.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CANVORA AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
  • Damages resulting from third-party conduct or content

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Canvora and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your User Content
  • Your violation of these Terms

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Canvora at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or extended inactivity.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your account data after a reasonable period following termination.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on our platform. Continued use of Canvora after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
