Composed for Arabic, not mirrored

Flipping an English layout doesn’t make it Arabic. Here is the same brief, made once in English and once in Arabic.

  • Reading starts at the top right, so the headline sits there and the photo moves to the left.
  • Each step number leads its slide from the right, here in Arabic-Indic digits (١، ٢، ٣).
  • Letters join the way they’re written, with no broken or isolated forms.
  • Mixed pieces like “V60” and “٢٥٠ مل” sit in the right place inside the Arabic line.

The details that usually go wrong

Connected letters
An Arabic letter changes shape depending on where it sits in a word. Canvora draws words joined, the way they’re written, not as separate letters.
Right alignment and reading order
Text starts on the right, and the layout follows the eye from the headline to the details to the call to action.
Numbers the way you want them
Arabic-Indic (٣٠) or Western (30). Write them as you want them to appear, or say which in your request.
Arabic and English together
Brand names written in Latin letters stay as they are, and each line keeps its own direction.
Modern Standard Arabic or dialect
Canvora uses your words. For Gulf, Egyptian or Levantine phrasing, write the text yourself and ask for it to be used exactly as written.
Room for each platform
On stories and thumbnails, text stays out of the areas the platform covers with its own buttons.

How to make an Arabic design

  1. Describe it

In Arabic or English. For example: “Instagram post for my bakery in Jeddah about our Ramadan offer, in Arabic.”

  2. Check the plan

Canvora suggests the sizes, the number of slides and a style, and applies your brand kit if you’ve saved one.

  3. Create and adjust

Change any line by asking, for example: “Change the headline to: عروض الشتاء بدأت”.

Start in Arabic

Already have the English version?

Canvora can translate a finished design into Arabic and keep the layout and photos exactly as they are, with the text right-aligned in place. That suits campaigns that must look identical in every market. When the design is mainly for an Arabic-speaking audience, ask for it in Arabic from the start.
