Inviting Team Members
Add people to your workspace so they can create and collaborate
On this page
You've got a workspace. Now let's get your team in there.
Sending Invites
Go to your workspace Settings and find the Members tab. Click Invite Member, enter their email address, and choose a role:
- Admin — Can manage members, credits, projects, and create visuals
- Editor — Can create visuals and use shared brands
- Reviewer — Can view workspace visuals but can't create or spend credits
Not sure which role to pick? Check out the Roles & Permissions guide for details on what each role can do.
What the Invited Person Sees
They'll get an email with a link to join your workspace. If they already have a Canvora account, they'll be added immediately after clicking. If they're new, they'll create an account first and then land in your workspace.
Invite Expiry
Invites are valid for 7 days. After that, they expire and you'll need to send a new one. You can see how much time is left on each pending invite in the Members tab—it'll show something like "expires in 3 days" or turn red when it's expired.
You can always cancel a pending invite and resend if someone missed it.
Managing Members
Changing Roles
Need to promote someone? In workspace settings, find the member and update their role. You can promote an editor to admin, or change an admin to editor—whatever the team needs.
Only owners and admins can change roles.
Removing Members
If someone leaves the team or no longer needs access, you can remove them from the workspace settings. Their own account stays intact—they just lose access to the workspace.
Visuals they created while in the workspace stay in the workspace.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
- Only owners and admins can invite new members
- You can't invite someone who's already a member
- Each person can be in multiple workspaces with different roles
- The workspace owner can't be removed (but ownership can be transferred)
