Chat Mode Features

Chat Mode is Canvora's AI-powered creation experience. Just describe what you want, and AI guides you through creating professional visuals.

The Interface

When you open Chat Mode at /create, you'll see:

• Split-pane layout — Chat on the left, Canvas on the right (on desktop)
• Welcome screen — Three input options: Describe, Upload, or Paste URL
• Quick Examples — Clickable sample prompts to get you started
• Canvas pane — Your generated visuals appear here in real-time

On mobile, you can switch between Chat and Canvas using tabs at the bottom.

How It Works

1. Start with any input: describe an idea, upload a document, or paste a URL
2. AI analyzes your content and asks clarifying questions if needed
3. AI suggests the best format for your content
4. Review options in the confirmation panel (format, brand, style, slide count)
5. Generate and watch visuals appear in real-time

What You Can Do

Describe What You Want

Just type naturally:

• "I need an Instagram carousel with 5 tips for better sleep"
• "Create a LinkedIn post about time management"
• "Turn this blog post into social media graphics"

Upload Content

Drop in a PDF or Word document. Canvora extracts the content and helps you turn it into visuals.

Paste URLs

Share a blog post or webpage link. Canvora reads the page and suggests the best visual formats.

The Confirmation Panel

Before generating, you can customize:

• Format selection — Confirm or adjust the suggested format(s)
• Slide count — For carousels, choose 1-10 slides
• Brand kit — Select your brand or choose "None (AI picks theme)"
• Embed logo — Toggle whether to include your logo on visuals
• Visual style — Pick from Modern, Minimal, Bold, Elegant, Playful, Corporate, Creative, Dark, or "Let AI decide"
• Credit cost — See exactly how many credits this will use

Generation & Editing

Real-time Generation

Watch visuals appear as they're created. You'll see a progress bar and can navigate away—your visuals save automatically.

Quick Actions

After generation, each image has:

• Download — Save the individual image
• Edit — Make changes with natural language

For the whole generation:

• Download All — Get everything as a ZIP file
• Create More — Generate additional variations
• Try Other Formats — Regenerate with different formats

Batch Editing

Edit multiple images at once:

1. Click Edit on any generation with multiple images
2. Select which images to edit (or use "Select all")
3. Type your edit instruction
4. The same edit applies to all selected images

Edit History

Every edit is saved. Click any image, then Edit History to:

• View all versions with timestamps
• Revert to any previous version
• Compare versions side by side

Reference Images

Upload a reference image to guide your edits—match a color palette, layout, or style from an existing image.

Conversation Persistence

Your chats are saved automatically. Resume any conversation from Chat History to continue where you left off.
